About Paul Jantz

Jantz Music Publications is owned and operated by Paul Jantz who received the bachelor’s degree in music education from Bob Jones University in 1974 and the master’s degree in sacred music in 1976.  His post-graduate education has included summer study at the National Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan, private study with Ron Barron, Richard Cox and Doug Elliott, International Trombone Workshops, and work with the Summit Brass at the Keystone Brass Institute, and attendance at numerous conferences and clinics with world class musicians in the brass field.  After retiring in May 2023 from 48 years of full-time teaching and administration, he is presently an adjunct professor in the Brass Studies Program in the Bob Jones University Division of Music.  A long-time member of the GAMAC Chamber Orchestra and Foundation Brass, Paul presently conducts the University Trombone Choir and teaches a music education course in addition to private trombone and euphonium. He has been involved with church and school instrumental music programs for over 50 years.
